Antoine Simonin founded STUDIO ASAÏ in 2014, after having worked with Andrée Putman and Jean-François Bodin in his early professional career.
Since Antoine Simonin has more than 15 years of experience in architecture, he has the ability to take on both residential and hotel projects without compromising his passion for design.

There is a distinct aesthetic quality to each new project that is faithful to its creators. When Antoine Simonin paints portraits, he prefers to make music based on their own notes, rather than imposing a one-way aesthetic on these images. Despite his more humanistic and instinctive approach, his watermark remains a distinct one, with the sophistication of his suggestion mixed with a proclivity for crude materials.
The arts & crafts movement, the wabi-sabi movement, and Adolf Loos are all represented. His imagination is filled with references that share a certain radicalism that he likes to convey with carvings in marble, patinas on carefully selected wood, and perfectly curved chair lines. His approach to interior design respects its original context while giving it all that it needs.
He enhances Haussmann codes in a Parisian apartment recently delivered on Avenue Henri-Martin, and earth and concrete take center stage in a South African lodge planned for 2022. Antoine Simonin, however, planned a windmill as a fan on the Portuguese hills of Sintra, as opposed to a chalet in Valais, Switzerland, which is under construction. The space between the public and private rooms takes center stage on both sides of the curtain, like a contrasted architectural promenade.
