Born in 1905, Christian Dior, who was always fond of the arts, started his journey in the fashion industry working for designer Robert Piquet after the Great Depression. In 1946, at 41 years of age, he founded his couture house, Dior! Establishing a name for himself in the competitive industry with his unique feminine line, a timelessly elegant design that changed the view on luxury fashion, “La Ligne Corolie” focused on a defined slim waist and knee-length skirts!
